Our Story & Commitments

June 2000: sipping a cocktail on a beach in Boulouris, with nothing in sight but the sunset, the sea, and the rocks. Two friends in the South of France... The servers catering to our table are all dressed differently, with no harmony and no visual identity. We think to ourselves, "What a shame for such a beautiful venue..." And just like that, the idea was born!

We started crafting a line of workwear made from traditional fabrics like canvas, denim, velvet, and leather, which we would design in a wide range of colors driven by our inspirations and fashion trends. Over time, these colors and materials naturally led us to create a line of accessories following the very same core values as our professional clothing: utility, durability, functional shapes, comfortable fabrics, and beautiful colors...

This gave birth to a line of unisex bags for travel, sports, or the beach, as well as our signature hats—crafted from paper or felt and featuring their famous double leather strap—and our ultra-comfortable, colorful loafers.

In June 2000, our story began beneath the sunny skies of Saint-Raphaël, along the French Riviera. It was here that Cécile Fernez, an art historian trained in Aix-en-Provence, and Nathalie Pégaule, an ESMOD Nice fashion design graduate, decided to combine their creative visions. Their goal was simple: to design the essential accessories that effortlessly bridge the gap between work and everyday life.

Together, they craft pieces where authentic materials take center stage. Raw, dyed, and carefully textured canvas blend with beautifully worked leather. To bring these designs to life, Cécile and Nathalie selected dedicated European workshops in Italy and Portugal, alongside a family-run atelier in India specialized in leather craftsmanship.
